Specialized Bike Serial Number Location

To register your bike, you will need the serial number from underneath the bottom bracket on your bike. Registration is advantageous in that it provides us with a way to give local police ownership information on recovered stolen bikes. It is also useful in warranty- and service-related situations.

Note: A serial number does not indicate the size, model, or year of a bicycle. We will not be able to tell you this information with only the serial number. If you do not know the model and year of your bicycle, you will need to find it manually via the photos in the online archive.

EN numbers - European Standards (EN) are documents that have been ratified by one of the 3 European Standards Organizations, CEN, CENELEC, or ETSI. These are not serial numbers and are not unique to individual bikes.

Rear triangle serial numbers - Many full-suspension mountain bikes will have serial numbers on the rear triangle. These serial numbers often do not match the true serial number, which will be located on the front triangle.

A serial number located on a rear dropout. Some BMX bikes and a few Schwinn bicycles place the serial on the rear dropout. On older Schwinns there are numbers stamped on both the drive side and non-drive side rear dropouts; the one on the non-drive side dropout is the serial number.

If you have the serial number of your bike, you will be able to find out information about it. This might include the date of manufacturing, type of bike, and other info which can help identify your registered bike.

The bike index site will provide you search field that you can input the bike serial number into. Then all you have to do next is hit search, and the index will provide you with a list of matches. Once you have the list of matches, you can go through the details about those bikes and their location. However, to ensure this is your bike, contact any potential sellers or owners in person for verification purposes.

A standard psychometric test battery [number connection test A and B (NCT A and B)], line tracing test (LTT), digit symbol test (DST) and serial dotting test (SDT)] was administered to both patients and controls by trained research assistants and the time to complete NCT A and B and SDT tests including error correction times were recorded. In DST, subjects were asked to substitute the symbols to 80 numbers as in the standard test in 90 s and the number of properly substituted numbers were measured. In LTT, time taken for completion of the test and number of errors were recorded. 350c69d7ab
